You and your doctor may have decided that you need a cholesterol-lowering medication in
combination with a healthy diet and exercise program. LESCOL® XL is a well-tolerated,
effective medication called a "statin" that lowers cholesterol and LDL (or "bad") cholesterol.
It helps the liver to make less cholesterol, and it increases the liver's ability to remove the
LDL already in the blood.

How to take LESCOL® XL:
|
- Take LESCOL® XL as directed by your physician
- You can take LESCOL® XL at any time of day
- LESCOL® XL can be taken with or without food
- Do not break, crush or chew LESCOL® XL tablets
- If you miss a dose of LESCOL® XL, take it as soon as you remember. Do not take LESCOL® XL if it has been more than 12 hours since your last dose. Wait and take the next dose at your regular time. Do not take 2 doses of LESCOL® XL at the same time
